if i sync a deactivated iphone w/ another itunes..will it delete the apps?
i bought a deactivated iphone off my friend and all his stuff is still on it. i just want to use it as an ipod and game player and keep the apps he already has. however, i wanna change the music, when i try to sync it it says it can only be synced with one and will have to erase the current stuff, will it delete all of the apps as well? or just the music...PLEASE HELP
In regards to iTunes content, an iPhone can be synced with an iTunes library on a single computer only. When syncing an iPhone with an iTunes library on another computer, all iTunes content on the iPhone will be erased first.
You need to use your iTunes account with iTunes on your computer to purchase and download any paid or free apps that you want to use on this iPhone, which is the same for music. Anything else is considered as stealing from app developers with an app that requires payment.
is there any way i can transfer my itunes account to the phone? because my friends is still on it and if i were to buy something it would get charged to him.
and if i let my computer overwrite everthing on the iphone, allowing me to add my own songs, apps, etc. will i need some sort of password to do so? or can i just start adding, because i dont want to use it as a phone, just an ipod.
