As Duane says, no audio streaming, but it does support USB HDDs.
No. Airport Express does!
Actually, only the newer gigabit (n) airport extremes support a USB-connected hard drive for network storage.

Does anyone know if I can use an external hard drive connected to Airport Extreme Base Station to store my iTunes files, and to play them wirelessly on my mac? It seems like the logical answer should be yes, but I remember reading the opposite in AEBS review on cnet.com.
I think you should be able to do this if you configure iTunes to let you manage your files yourself (don't copy to iTunes folder). As mentioned before, the AEBS must be the newer one that supports the n wireless protocol.
