MobileMe changes not appearing in published calendar

I recently had 5 computers and 2 iPhone's syncing calendars and contacts over MobileMe. This proved to be too much, with events not updating across all systems, especially with time zones thrown in the mix.

So I tried to simplify. I left the contacts as is, but the calendars are now only on one computer and two iPhones (via MobileMe). Not a problem. To keep the other 4 computers informed, I have them subscribe to a published calendar by the 1 master computer doing the MobileMe Sync. Everything seems good.

If I make a new event on the iphones or master computer or a web interface for MobileMe, it updates the master computer and publishes the changes, and the other 4 update. Same with deleting events. It works.

Now here's the problem. When I change an event on MobileMe (time, name etc), the change gets pushed to the master computer, and then this computer can be seen updating the published calendar. Shortly thereafter, the other computers update their calendars, but the event remains unchanged. Obviously not good.

This problem is confined to changing events. If I delete or make a new event, it works. If I change an event and don't see it update, but later delete it, it still deletes.

I'm thinking there is nothing I can do about this, it's a bug within MobileMe?

So I try it in my own personal MobileMe Account, and it works! Sort of. I made a new event, and I changed one in the web interface of MobileMe. The changed one shows changes in my subscribed calendar and the new one appears. BUT, the iCal that does the publishing has not updated, it still shows the old time on the event. It's a re-occuring event, which I have also advised friends to stay away from (changes don't always stay changed). It's so bizarre, it updates the published calendar, but shows no updates within iCal! I quit iCal and opened and forced a manual sync. That fixed it. But that's not a solution.

I'm starting to get really fed-up with the problems in MobileMe Syncing....
