SplashID Desktop will not open
I am having a problem with SplashID desktop. I have installed it per the instructions at SplashData Version 4.6.1 which says it is compatable with Tiger (OS 10.4.11) but it will not open. It bounces a few times and then gives me this error "The application SplashID quit unexpectedly" with options to close, report or reopen (none of which help).
I have contacted SplashData support who have repeatedly told me to rename the SplashID folder to .old and delete the .pst file in the library. I have tried this numerous times and have gone as far as deleting everything on my system that has anything to do with SplashID and then re-installing my OS. Still I get the same error.
I am running OS 10.4.11 on an PowerPC G4. I have the iPhone version of SplashID which works fine. I also have an old version of SplashID desktop (which I have also removed to test) that I used with my Treo before getting my iPhone and it works fine.
Please, any suggestions would be deeply appreciated. I would really like to be able to sync my iPhone app to my desktop app.
