how to email a video on iphoto

Hi,
I can't seem to email photos or videos on iphoto 7.5.1. The photos I know need to be resized but I don't have a clue how to do that and I'm not sure how to send a video either. I have tried to send these through attachments and it seems that it just attaches forever so I cancel it. Help!
Thanks.

Hi TD,
I did as you said and I exported it to the Desktop and attached it but i sent a test to myself and in the attachment in the email it says the "filename" and then it says "(download)" in parenthesis. When I clicked on the "file name" Quicktime opened with a "?" over the big Q. When I tried to click on the word "download" the only thing that opened was a picture of the first shot of the video and when I clicked on play nothing happened. Should I have exported it elsewhere?
Thanks
Macerrific
Oh yeah, the video is only 2 1/2 minutes long. I've have gotten youtube videos from people in my email that are much longer.

Hi TD,
Well, guess what, it did not work. I sent a test to myself and two other people and I was the only one able to open it and the 2 addresses I sent it to could not. It seems to be too big to send (about 340mb) and I don't know how to compress it or whatever the correct term is, to be able to send it. If you have any suggestions I'd be amenable to hearing them. I'm not sure if you are talking out loud as you are typing so I will refrain from using the word "said" in the future.
Thanks

Hmmm:

That said, folks don’t usually email video, the files sizes are much larger...

I suggest that you use a Video sharing site like YourTube ot Vimeo, or even MobileMe, where you upload the movie and send the others a link to see it. Failing that use a service for sending large files like YouSendIt or RapidShare, which work in pretty much the same way.

Regards

TD
