Print screen + import the picture in Photoshop

Coming from a Windows-based PC, I used to do a 'print screen' with the dedicated key on the keyboard and then cut and paste the image into Photoshop for further adjusting. (crtl+v)

I know 'print screen' with a mac is 'command + 3', but how do I get the image into Photoshop?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Actually, Command-3 switches an open window to Column view. Command-Shift-3 takes a screenshot. By default screenshots are saved as png files on the Desktop. Just open in Photoshop by either drag 'n drop onto the Photoshop icon in the Dock, or thru the Open dialog in Photoshop, navigate to /Users/yourname/Desktop/Picture 1 and open.
