How do I transfer mp3 files from a Sansa player to itunes

I have a new touch and an old Sansa player. I need to transfer the songs from Sansa to my touch to keep from having to re-download 700 songs again. I assume I need to get them onto itunes first but how?

Hi,

Does the Sansa have a "disc mode", does it show as an external drive when connected to your PC?
If so, can you drag and drop/copy the music files from it into your music library? Not sure if the Sansa uses plain old Mp3s, anything else might need converting.

you can drag and drop them from the folder they are in on your computer into itunes. or file .... add file/add folder.

it shows up as a drive but shows no files...which it does have 700 files. The original files are on another pc. I wanna use the touch but man I dont want to buy 700 songs again

If the files are on another PC what format are they in?
Can you copy them onto CD/DVD and transfer them to your main PC and then import them into your iTunes library?
