Selling Apps through the App Store

Hello, I have a question about selling apps for the iPhone. I was thinking of starting a small home business by doing this but rather than develop the app myself I was going to contract it out to someone. The developer would then transfer all source code, etc to me and I would submit the app.

Can I do this in a Windows environment since the developer used a Mac to code it? Is this process legal or within the terms of use?

Custom Built PC, Windows Vista, Home Premium 64bit

An Intel-based Mac is needed to develop apps and I have a feeling the process to relay them to Apple would also require the same. A better question is why would someone contract with you to do this? It only costs $99 to become a developer and it would not be onerous for them to move the app themselves.

If you do become a developer - PLEASE make an app for forwarding SMS without Jailbreaking my phone!!! I would pay ya for that alone!

I guess I need to buy a mac then. Thanks.

Btw, they would get a contract with me because I would pay them to develop the app. The same way programmers get paid to develop anything else.

I don't think apple would accept a way to forward an SMS. They may see it as a competitive app.
