Good news guys got this ironed out... These are copies of emails sent back and fourth...
When I tried to sync, the app downloaded the 7 "ghost files" again. I backed up the phone and deleted and reinstalled the Quick Voice application. I made a new test file and tried to use your sync app to get it. I was getting an error that the Quick Voice wasn't synced with iTunes. So I went into help and read the directions, "Imagine that!" The ghost files were appearing because I didn't realize you had to sync the phone in iTunes to get the right files. I was getting the "ghost files" from the previous "iTunes Sync." You have to sync in iTunes before you Voice Sync your files.
Try these...our latest versions of sync app. This should fix the large file crash...

I downloaded the new iTunes update and tried to sync the files. The files that were deleted from the phone were downloaded again and it crashed again when it got to the large file, same result. I'm currently using Quick Voice Sync version 1.1.0.37, under "Help" in the Quick Voice Sync application there is a check for updates link, it tells me there is an update available, when I press OK to download the file, Safari gives me the following error...

comments: I have a two hour long presentation I recorded and using the app
to sync with my mac, the large file makes it crash every time. I went into
the phone and deleted the files I didn't need. when I tried the sync again
it still syncs even the deleted files then crashes when it gets to the big
one. I though the reappearing files it might be a problem in the iPhones
cashe so I rebooted the phone. Same result. I really would like to have
that large file to archive. Help??? All files recorded after it I can't
get to as far as the sync app goes either. Thanks!
