Hi,

Just picked up my first Mac today. When I open iTunes there is no menu bar like on a Windows machine. I need to change some of my preferences, but cannot find the menu bar all the help pages tell me should be there. Where did the menu go and how do I re-display. FYI it was missing out of the box when I first powered up.

the menu bar is at the top of the screen on the mac, the preferences can be found under iTunes next to the apple. Unlike windows where the menus are at the top of each window, the mac os X menu are static at the top of the screen and change as you change programs. if you need the preferences command+,
