Microsoft Money 2002

I am planning on buying a MAC 24" desk top. I would like advice for the following two questions...
1. Will my OFFICE 2003 files work seamlessly with iWORK'09. Or would you advise me to install Parallels and VISTA to run MS OFFICE on the MAC?
2. I use MICOSOFT MONEY 2002 for my accounting and it's perfectly adequate for my needs. Can I migrate my files and the MONEY 2002 program to the MAC and will it work seamlessly or do I have to buy something else to enable MONEY 2002 to work on the MAC?
Thanks for your help.

1. Seamlessly? Probably not. Get Office for Mac if you want the best compatibility
2. Money does not run on Mac OS. You'll need to install Windows on the Mac to run Money.

Also, please note that this forum is for troubleshooting Apple Software Update for Windows, a software package for Windows designed to update Apple products that run on Windows, and nothing else. You should post further questions regarding compatibility issues here:

Templeton is correct about where to place your post; however, I offer this solution for you application questions:

For Office 2003 and MS Money you may want to consider using CrossOver for Mac (www.codeweavers.com) this will allow you the ability to run Office 2003/Money on your iMac in ‘native’ mode. CrossOver is based on the WINE Project which installs a ‘shell’ version of Windows XP, this enables you to run Windows apps directly on your iMac without the hassle of running a virtual copy of Windows. In fact I am using it now to compose this message in Word 2003 and have never had any problems saving or using Office on my iMac. I also run Outlook (connecting to an Exchange Server) as well and again have no problems with it. With that said the only issue I would caution about this solution is based the amount of work you are planning on doing in Office. If you are planning on writing your life story you may want to consider using an application designed to run on the Mac, if your goal is to process single page/simple documents then this solution may work for you.

Additionally using CrosoverMac would allow you to share data/files easier with other Windows PC as you would not have to remember to save files in the ‘PC’ format.

Best of Luck
