multiple pods

my wife is getting an ipod mini and i have an ipod photo. question is this, will the ipods have different users? i mean if she syncs with my computer, she wont get a fraction of the music to fit. whats the process of making her music and playlists? is it like a user sign in and i copy the music to her folder? thanks for the help.
