iPod photo 30GB screen brightness

Is the same true for the Color 20GB photo iPod that I just bought? I am sure, it is a nope, too, huh? ... bummer.

I think only the monochrome screens have a brightness control.

Hey, thanks for replying... I sure appreciate your help and time. I just wish it would have a way to control it by brightness, since I like to listen to music as I go to bed at night with my wife in the bed next to me... LOL. It complete darkness (off), I cannot see what I am listening to. 🙂

lol, i also would like to control brightness and this is becuase when i listen to Podcast, my eyes are closed for an hour or so. I come to change tracks, and i am blinded by the light!

YES! I, too, am blinded by the light... it can be almost a near death experience when opening ones eyes to view the screen, especially at night in a very dark room (thick curtains, so there is no assistance from the moon or stars).
