Can i install Leopard on my MacBook?

Question

Can i install Leopard on my MacBook?

my iMac came with leopard already installed, but can i use those disks to load it onto my MacBook?
its 2 intel core duo... it is definately ready for leopard but just wondered if there is any limitations to having it on more than one of my home computers...
appreciate your help. thankyou

Hi Matt: Sorry, that won't work. disk shipped with Mac computers are "Machine Specific". Also there are legal limitations.

no. the disks that came with your imac are hardware specific and will not work with a different model computer. it's also against ULA to do this. you need to buy a retail copy of leopard if you want to install it on the macbook.
