Where does iTunes store the song ratings?

Question

Where does iTunes store the song ratings?

I can't seem to find out where iTunes stores the song ratings? Is it in the music music/itunes folder or in the preferences folder?

Is also possible to import these?

PowerMac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.11), Dual 2GHZ G5/1GB Ram/400GB HD/20" Cinema Display

Ratings, Playlists, Play Counts, Last Played, Date Added, etc are all parts of of the data set that's held in your iTunes Library file. You'll get more information including the Folder/File structure in this article: What are the iTunes library files?
