How can I remove wind sound from an audio track with Soundtrack Pro?

Hi,

I am fairly new to soundtrack pro--and love it. I am hoping to remove the wind sound from my audio track (during an interview). Any fairly simple fixes?

If there is only a slight amount of wind noise,
you can use an equalizer and filter out the bass frequencies.
The best equalizer for this purpose is a high-pass filter.

If there is a lot of wind noise, there is nothing you can do.

You can teach STP to hear and learn a specific range of noise and to then filter it out of a clip. See the manual for how to use the PROCESS menu items.
