How do i transfer files from my external HD to time capsule?

Hi Everyone,
I've been reading thru the discussions and yet to find a clear answer on how to transfer files from my external HD to time capsule. I am fairly new to Mac computers, pc user for years, but just bought a new MacBook Pro and the 500g time capsule.
I plan on using the Time Capsule as a back-up and external harddrive to store all of my music so not to overload my laptop.

Also, i have a pc formatted ipod, which i will have to re-format for my MacBook so I don't mind creating a new library in itunes but is it difficult to point the library to the music file on the Time Capsule? And will it work?

If it is directly connected to your Mac via USB or FireWire, Time Machine will include it in the backup.

...but is it difficult to point the library to the music file on the Time Capsule?

Thanx Duane, I probably should of been more clear on my question, my fault.
I have all my music stored on an external hard drive at the moment, which i've been using with my old pc and itunes, I want to transfer the music files onto my Time Capsule and use it as a storage device with my new MacBook Pro, and get rid of my external hard drive all together. Is there a way to do this? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanx

Would anyone else have any feedback. I guess my first question was not to clear but I will try again.

What I really was trying to find out is HOW do I take a file that resides on my external hard drive (whether an mp3, pic...etc) and move it to my Time Capsule? I know I would need to create a new folder within Time Capsule to store files there but how would I access the hard drive in the Time Capsule and move things over?

how did you do it? i too am a PC user. just got a mac and time capsule. want to transfer all of my files, music, etc from my PC to time capsule to get them on my mac and can't for the life of me figure out how.

What have you tried so far that isn't working? We need some details here. Start a new post as your problem is related to a PC to Mac machine.
