I recently ran out of memory on my computer and started deleting programs I don't use and accidentally removed the "Apple Mobile Device Service". Everything still works except when I connect my iTouch to my computer my iTunes doesn't recognize it so I can't sync anything. Is there any way I can re-download the Apple Mobile Device Service w/o uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes? If I do have to uninstall/reinstall iTunes will all my music/movies/TV shows/photos/etc. come back? I'm living abroad in France right now and I'm really scared I'll lose the stuff I've bought (mainly the movies/tv shows because I know my music is stored in my hard drive). Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!
Thank you for your response - I tried repairing and restarting my computer twice but it didn't reinstall the Apple Mobile Device Service. I guess I really will have to uninstall and reinstall iTunes completely - I guess I'll be backing everything up to a DVD today and hoping I can figure out how to import it all back into my new iTunes. Thanks for the help!
