hi there anyone,
this is my first on this site. i have never used dvd pro before.
am wanting to burn my surround mix onto dvd so i can play it on my 5.1 home hdmi dvd player.
can dvd pro burn surround files onto dvd's to be played back on 5.1 setup?
i have used compressor to encode all my seperate files into Dolby digital ac3.
how do i burn them using dvd pro? i really need some help here.

    yes you can burn these in dvd sp. normally you want a video track associated with them though but you should be able to build a dvd without a video track.
    import your ac3 assets into dvdsp and assign to a track. You will need to go through the normal way of making a dvd project (ie set dvd first play to your track or menu etc, build and burn it. 5.1 dolby is supported. i have built dvds with 5.1 assets in the past.
    the only gotchas are if you use these assets in menus - then all your menus must use the same type of audio - so all must be 5.1 or all 2ch etc.

    You MUST have video in a track, audio is optional.
