Google Adsense only shows 1 ad per page

I have added a maximum of 3 ads per page via the Google Adsense widget. Ads show properly positioned in iweb however on the published page there is only 1 ad shown. The other ads on the page are not visible. If I remove the ad that appeared in the published page then the next add on the page displays. Any hints/insights would be greatly appreciated
