Epson R1800 Wifi problem
Has anyone cracked the problem of getting a Mac to work wirelessly with an Epson Stylus Photo R1800 set up with a wireless printer server?
I have a D-Link DPR-1260 Wireless Printer Server attached by USB to my R1800. A Windows XP desktop was used to set it up and wirelessly it works fine. I also have a Windows XP laptop which wirelessly works fine.
I recently switched to Mac and now have a MacBook which prints fine if connected to the printer by USB but it won't work wirelessly. If I set it up using the R1800-Gutenprint driver it prints light. If I use the latest Epson drivers it won't print at all. I get a message saying "connection error".
I'd really appreciate some help with this. I'm tearing my hair out and there's not much left!!
