My question is about adding annotations in Preview. Why is it that when I want to add a note to a pdf I am stuck with a speech bubble? Speech bubbles block the text they float over. Can I somehow highlight a section and then attach a note to that highlighted section? This way when I re-read the pdf, I'm not hindered reading it because of the text bubbles.
Yes, you can change the opacity and the shape of the comment bubble and I thank you for showing me this trick. However, making the opacity 0% still keeps the horrible outline of the image which still restricts re-reading the article. What I want to know is why I cannot highlight a section (which doesn't restrict re-reading) and attach a note to that highlighted section?
I always draw a rectangle around the outside of the text then add a note. The note icon is as inconspicuous as possible right on the edge of the page and all added info is in the separate note.
I can't find another way to highlight text.
