g4 single user mode help

i am stuck in single user mode i tried to switch form os 9 to os x 10.3.4 and it rebooted into single user mode begining with this -sh-2.05b#
i tried everything to get it back to os 9 so i can install a newer version can anyone help?

apple power mac g4, Mac OS X (10.3.x)

Insert the CD you want to use, if possible. Type "reboot" and hold down the option key \[provided you have an AGP Graphics G4 or later] to have the ROM-based Startup Manager invoked:
