Clamshell mode without display (using MBP as headless server I suppose)
Hello -
I travel with a MBP Unibody and keep all my files on it.
At my office I plug it into the mains and plug in an ethernet then use it as a file server so I can work off my big iMac.
This only works if the lid is open (no external display attached so it goes into sleep if I close the lid).
Any one know if it is possible to put it into clamshell mode without an external display attached ? Then it would work more or less as a headless server and I can stick it under my desk out of the way.
Thanks,
Andrew
