Strip Silence - Multiple regions?

Is there a way to 'batch-process' multiple regions with the 'Strip Silence' function rather than having to do each region individually?

No, not per say...

My only advice would be to export all regions on a given track into one contiguous audio file (or simply merge them) , and then perform the strip silence command.

If these regions are on separate tracks, or there are multiple regions across multiple tracks, you'll have to do this on a track by track basis.

The strip silence function in Logic is one of the older features, that is in serious need of an overhaul, imo...

Thanks Jim...

I did mean regions on separate tracks - most projects I mix are sent as strips or stems, so using strip silence is usually my first job when importing a project. (I find it much easier to navigate an unfamiliar song & get up to speed with the arrangement). I usually err on the side of caution with strip silence, then go back & manually edit the start & end points. Though all regions require slightly different strip silence settings, it would be great if you could (intelligently) apply a global strip silence to the whole arrangement (or a batch of very similar files like BV's).

I agree though that the strip silence needs an overhaul - maybe they might even include batch processing... though I won't hold my breath!
