When I open my photo program the only photos it sees on my phone are the camera roll ones. How do I get to/from the Photo Library

Dell, Windows XP

Photos in your iPhone's Photo Library are photos that were transferred from your computer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process, and this is a one way transfer process only - from your computer to your iPhone. Photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone are optimized for viewing on your iPhone as part of the iTunes sync process, so the original resolution of these photos is reduced on your iPhone and the reason why the transfer process of these photos is in one direction only. You can't import these photos as is possible for photos in your iPhone's Camera Roll, and Apple doesn't support transferring these photos in the opposite direction since the original resolution of these photos was reduced.

Allan, thanks for your answer. Can you tell me how to delete selected photos from my iphone photo album?

    You're welcome.

In the same way the photos were transferred to your iPhone and the same as is required with music - via the iTunes sync process.

If you selected a single folder of photos to be transferred to your iPhone, and you want one photo removed from your iPhone, you must remove the photo from the folder of photos selected on your computer's hard drive under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences to be transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.

I've tried to upload photos from a file folder on my computer TO my iPhone (via iTunes)...but it isn't working. The same photos remain on my iPhone BUT there are none of the new photos. What am I doing wrong?
