Weird Fonts in the Dictionary App

I just noticed that the Mac OS X Dictionary app seems to have a weird font issue. The pronunciations look as though they're accessing a font that doesn't have a full set of characters. There are a lot of rectangles, and odd characters used in place of what should be there. I ran font validation in Fontbook which revealed one bad font, but it definitely wasn't a font being used by the Dictionary app. The only part of dictionary display that is messed up is the pronunciation. Does anyone know what font is used for that?
