Running Ipod From External Power Source To Watch Movies On TV
First, sorry if this is the wrong thread to post in but did some searching and couldn't find a proper thread for this question.
So, here's the question:
I have been trying to find out if there is a way to hook up my 30G Ipod video to an external power source to watch movies on my TV. My Ipod battery gives me maybe 2 hours if fully charged but it would be nice if I could run it for a lot longer for longer movies or multiple movies.
Hooking the Ipod up to the USB on my computer seems to only let it charge, not output video.
Anyway, any tips would be appreciated.
If this can't be done then maybe this is a feature that Apple should consider for future generations of Ipod Video. 2 or even 4 hours battery life for video isn't really that sufficient.
Cheers,
Swanny
