attaching photos to email

Do you get any sort of error message? What size is the photo file? Is it a particular photo, or any photo?

Funny, that happens to me on occasion. Mail at times seems to be very inconsistent. What I do when that happens I drag the photo to the desk top and then drag it down to the mail icon in the dock and the photo gets embedded into the email there. It doesn't work when I drag the photo from the desktop into the body of the email that I am sending. It's a work around so give it a try and let us know if that works for you. Sometimes it works using the photo browser in the composition window and sometimes it doesn't. I find apple mail very erratic!

It has always worked for me to just pull it into the message body... can't imagine why your having these problems

Is there any text in the message you are trying to attach the photo?

If you have Windows Friendly Attachments and Always add attachments to the end of message, you can't attach anything to a blank email.

You have to have text in the body of your email before adding the photo via 'attach message' or the photo will not attach. I found that info in the email help files after having the same problem that you have stated.
