Reducing file size of PNG

I would say no, off hand, but how big a file are we talking about. As it was stated, you can open it up and shrink the overall size and stuff, but the quality will suffer.

PNG files aren't all that big to begin with, as a rule.

There's many PNG optimizers... PNGs might be compressed, but many times they aren't compressed well, you can sometimes get another 10-15% by using special tools. Try this one out, or google search for others: png optimize

PNG is already compressed. If you attempt to compress it again it is doubtful you will save very much space and it is certainty you will loss quality.

Opening the file in Preview will allow you to reduce the dimensions and DPI, but that will definitely result in decreased image quality, though to what extent depends on how small you make it.
