Address Book with Thunderbird

Hello:

Is there a way to use Address Book with Thunderbird. I have tried to import my
addresses from Address Book into my Thunderbird address book, but it does not happen?

Hi BD Aqua,

Thanks for this info & link. As it appears to be web based and not a downloadable
application - I hessitate to use it. I was actually hoping for an "in-house"
approch.

You might try Address Book Exporter 2.1.2:

Use it to export your Address Book to a text file and then import from the text file using Thunderbird's Tools > Import. Go through each individual record by hitting the Next button and use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to match the data in the Address Book fields to the Record data to import. A bit time consuming, but it can be made to work. Good luck.

Then I think you'll have to use Eudora, (can Import your Mail from Mail)...

Then import from Eudora to tBird.

I actually found a downloadable application called:

Export Address Book - it appears to be from our UK friends, the link below takes
you to a full-version but it is a demo. I have started to try it out. It does
give you choices of several varions of formats to same Address Book in to export.

So far I have only tried it a few times, but I like what I see.
