Can I lock pdf files to stop printing and copying?

I want to share a file, but I don't want people to be able to print or copy the content. I cannot seem to find a way to do this - I've only found how to make it read only or password protected.

Mac OS X (10.5)

You can do that with Acrobat Professional (but you'd need to purchase it)

Use the "PDF" button at the bottom-left of the Print dialog window, choose "Save as PDF", click the "Securities Options": button, check the box to require a password for copying and printing, and give it a good password. Of course there are ways to bypass this, such as by screen copy.
