Bluetooth file sharing is usually used for sharing files with mobile phones due to its low speed connection.

To set-up do this:

*System Preferences* > Sharing > Check the box for *Bluetooth Sharing*

*System Preferences* > Bluetooth > Click the '+' icon then go through the *Bluetooth Setup Assistant* to "pair" the phone with the Mac.

Once its set-up you can browse the device and send files to it using the *Bluetooth File Exchange* application.

When they are paired and I look at the profile for my Blackberry on my Mac, it says nothing about OBEX under Device Services.

When I look at the profile for my Mac from the Blackberry it has "OBEX Object Push" listed as a service on the Mac.

The WM6 phone doesn't even see that the Mac has OBEX Push.

Does that mean that I'm missing something in the software on the phones?

I wanted to connect up my MacPro with my MacBook using Bluetooth and the setup shows that they are paired, but not connected, how do I get them to connect - they are within six feet of each other - but you are saying it's just not worth the trouble and I'm better off using an ethernet cable? Except on my MacPro, the ethernet is my internet connection, so i can't do both.
