Is the Sony PS-LX300USB Mac Compatible ?

Hello all ~ I have looked at 20 different sites and none mention whether
this turntable is mac compatible.I have one of the old quicksillvers that came
with no audio input and already tried an audio interface which just made me
pull my hair out ...with this old of a machine it seems the best option.

Quick Silver, Mac OS X (10.4.11), PowerMac G4

The turntable works with a MAC! You have to download the free software even of http://www.audacity.de or from apple page ( http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/audio/audacity.html). This software comes with other USB turntables like ION TTUSB.

Which Audio IOnterface did you try?

I doubt the USB would work, but with an RCA to Mini adapter & iMic...
