" iPhone is disabled "

After wrong password attempts on my iphone , the iPhone has been displaying the following message :
"iphone is disabled"

it also displays some time-limit after which the iPhone will be functional again .. currently
"try again in 4251873 minutes"

i want to know if there is a solution to this problem .. if so .. please let me know .

From the manual, page 106...

If you forget your passcode, you must restore the iPhone software. See “Updating and Restoring iPhone Software” on page 141.

After ten failed passcode attempts, your settings are reset to their defaults and all your information and media on your iPhone is removed by overwriting the data stored on iPhone.
