How do I Delete an App Update from iTunes ?

Is there a way to delete and/or not install an update to an App I want to keep ?

New update for an App now includes "advertising" and I just want to keep it the way it is. If the update can not be bypassed or deleted, I'll just uninstall the app I guess.

Have you tried deleting the app. from your iTunes on your computer?

No, but I'll try that.

Will I be able to keep the app installed on my iPhone though and just not have it in iTunes?

Yes. When you go to sync it though, depending on your settings, it will plop it back in there and alert you of an update.

As for the alert via the Applications app. on your iPhone, I don't believe it will disappear until you update it.

don't delete the app...all you have to do is update one-by-one the rest of your apps and ignore that particular app's update. Whatever you do, do not click the update all button or then it will update that app as well.

If he deletes the app. in his iTunes on his computer, it will remain on his phone. As I said, depending on his sync settings, it will either put it back in or not.
