How to turn On iPhone Photo Location Info for iPhoto 09

I bought my son a new iPhone 3G for Christmas. The photos he sends me taken with his new phone do not include location information when viewed in iPhoto 09 as pictures taken with my iPhone do. Is there a setting in his phone that is set to off or perhaps a phone problem? I love this feature in the new iPhoto and was disapointed that his photos were lacking this information.

Make sure he has location services set to ON in:

Settings > General > Location Services.

This will allow the camera application to geotag photos

I'm using the iPhoto version included with iLife 08, and the location information (if included when the photos is captured) is not shown with iPhoto.

If I export the photo and open/view the photo with the Preview App, at the menu bar selecting Tools > Inspector, the GPS info is provided under the More Info tab below GPS.

Allan thats because iLife 08 doesn't support the GeoTagging but the new iLife 09 does so I would suggest picking up that upgrade...
