Uninstalling a corupt version of Adobe CS4

While installing Adboe CS4, I accidentally popped the CD out of my computer (Imac, 10.5.6). After swearing at myself, I reinserted the CD to try and contiume the install but the install just seemed to hang. So I rebooted and tried to run the setup again. I was asked if I wanted to reinstall so I said sure. I got the message that it was reinstalling but nothing actually happened after several hours. So I Googled and found that in applications/utilities, there is supposed to be an Adobe uninstall tool. But I can't find that. I remember from several years ago when I had a Mac I used to be able to hold down the Apple key or something while I double clicked on the installer to get to an uninstall option. I can't seem to do that now. Any suggestions please.

Thank you all for your responses.
2point5-I like your idea of trashing the folder under applications. I will try that.
Klaus1-In my post I state that the failed install did not manage to place the uninstall executable in the utilities folder. But maybe I can find a copy by contacting Adobe.
Carolyn-Yes, I found that link before posting here. Unfortunately the instructions say that I'm supposed to use the uninstaller utility (the one Klaus1 describes) before running that script.
Templeton Peck-"contact the Adobe forum; fair enough suggestion, I will. But I was hoping there may be a generic uninstal procedure on the Mac. For example, on my Windows box, I can go into the Add/Remove control panel to remove most software.
