Converting .m4a files to Powerpoint sound files

Powerpoint cannot use .m4a file in their movies. I tried using SWITCH to convert the .m4a files to .aiff, .mov, or .wav, or .mp3 files. But none of them was accepted by Powerpoint. Do you have a suggestion to convert to a sound file that I can use in a Pointpoint file that I am saving as a movie?

I don't understand how that helps at all. I can use SWITCH to convert to aiff or aif files but Powerpoint will still not accept them into a movie. Plus SWITCH seems to make the m4a file about 10 times larger when converting to aiff or aif. Converting to mp3 keeps the size the same but Powerpoint does not accept that converted file either. Powerpoint is supposed to accept those file types but not m4a, that is why I need to convert it to use the music I want to include.
