Installing Alesis io 14 on Bootcamp

Any news yet?!?

This is soo rediculous... Man, it's like im about to give up on apple all together. I've tried everything.. It says the Io 14 is there, but The HDM says it can't find it! it doesnt make sense. all the drivers are installed. The only thing you can select is REALTEK.... Please help. Is there a work around???? Thanks!

iMac intel Duo Core 2.4, Mac OS X (10.5.1), 4 gig, Alesis io14, Krk Vxt6

By hotfix do you mean the KB885222 FireWire patch for SP2? In SP3 that should be taken care of. For upgraders from SP2 it could still be an issue though. If not, which hotfix is it?

And for the registry, do you mean finding out the device ID in Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager? And from there, how did you go about finding the device in the registry? Did you attach it and just browsed? I'll reboot and try that now but I think I might need a pointer or two.

did you download the hotfix? its a firewire hot fix... Google it. and go through the process with windows, leave ur email, and they will email it to you after that... Go into your systems... find out your firwire ID, go into the registry and make it 0x3 and then ull be all set
