movie trailer voice-over effect

Is it possible that Garageband can be configured to create the movie trailer-like voiceover effect?

I always wanted to know how to do it as it would have a big impact when moviemaking. What other good voiceover settings can be created that are just like those in Hollywood movies?

MacBook Pro 2.2GHz, 4GB DDR2-667, NVIDIA 8600GT, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

If I were you, I'd start by recording something (with your face close to the microphone for " proximity effect" - which deepens your voice) along the lines of...

"In a place FAR away, and a time before LIGHT, when CHAOS ruled the Earth, ONE MAN emerged to change things... FOREVER!!! And that man was <insert name of man here>."

Then, I'd add some effects... compression, reverb, pitch change (maybe), etc.

Then, after you get that to sound about right, all that's left is to make the movie.
