How Do I Remove Keys

While most people (including myself) strongly advise not attempting to remove/replace individual keys, you should have a look here:

You should be able to see how to release single keys once you follow that guide.

There may be a way to remove keys without removing the entire keyboard but getting them back on will be a whole other ball game.

I have not tried this on my MBP yet, but at least on my PowerBook, and definitely on iBooks, you gently lift the key from the upper left hand corner, and the clips on the bottom will release. Do it too many times, though, and the clips will break and you will have to get a new key.

Careful!!!! With the redesign of the MBP, they switched the keyboard to one unibody keyboard, and individual keys are no longer removable., You don't say which MBP you have, but the last version of the MBP with the silver keys (early 2008) no longer has individually removable keys...you need to take your entire MBP in for repair. At an apple store, they will order the keyboard and when it comes in, you bring in your MBP, leave it for the day or two it takes them to replace it, and then get it back at the Apple Store.
