Windows XP on early 2009 Mac Mini

How is Windows XP performance on the latest Mac Mini? Is it comparable to a PC with a 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo? I'm planning on getting the cheaper model and maxing out the RAM myself. If I'm running Parallels, can I expect reasonable performance while having OS X and XP running at the same time? I'm not talking about playing modern games or editing big movies, just a few apps that aren't available for Mac (or I don't have for Mac yet).

Yes, XP will work just fine. I have had XP running on my 1.83 GHz Mini through VM, Parallels, and Boot-Camping-it, and I thought that all three worked well for the basics (Internet and I got a free copy of Office 2007 Ultimate that I wanted to use on it). The 2009 Mini has the new graphics, a faster processor and FSB, and if you're maxing out the DDR3 memory, it should be "blazing"!
