iWeb local site to open in SEO tools

I am wanting to use iWeb SEO tools to work with my sites on local HD. I am wondering how to open a site from Local in Tools. I have several sites in iWeb and need to work each one separately. Publishing is done through ftp to isp other than mobileme. Also, I appear not to have a domain.site2 folder, though I am not sure that would help. Using iWeb 09, having upgraded from 08.

The default location for your domain.sites2 file is Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWeb.

In SEO Tool, open the main window, click on the "Open Website" folder at the top left and browse to your web folder.

Highlight each .html file in turn and add tags.

You can work on one site at a time by quitting the application and relaunching each time you need to change from one to the other so that the sidebar doesn't get cluttered with files.

I wish this were true and your answer would solve the problem. Your answer is Apple's answer and seems to be the case most of the time. The full location is HD/users/name/Library/Application Support/iWeb where we should all find the magic folder domain.sites2 It is a folder similar in function to iPhotos folder. However, all I find is a folder, domains, which does not give me usable access. Have I set iWeb 09 up such that it did not create domain.sites2? I am not alone in finding this problem. Thank you for your reply.

Domian.sites2 is a file, not a folder.
I think iWeb '09 gives you the option to store it anywhere you want.
Do a spotlight search for domain or domain.sites2 if you have file extensions enabled in Finder preferences.
You can also use an application like Pref Setter to open the iWeb preference file in Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWeb.plist.
Look for iWebDefaultsDocumentPath.

Rodney, this is helpful. Unfortunately I am not able to follow all of this. Here is my hang up. Using Spotlight I do not even find Domain. I looked at Sys Prefs and do not see a way to improve how spotlight searches. So I do not see a place to turn extensions on or off and to see what I need to enable to see deep enough to capture Domain in my search. Oh yea, I get lots of hits for domain in Show All, but none are the path to iWeb. So of course I am not finding domain.sites2 yet. Can you get me over this obstacle? Thank you.

Summary of solution:
Shareware app, Find File caused file titled Domain to appear properly as domain.sites2 solving that part of the problem.

However, that does not present iWeb sites for tag editing in RAGE SEO tool. My bad!! After downloading RAGE's help documents it was obvious you must publish your site to a local folder first if you intend to publish your site to an ISP other than MobileMe.

Now I have full access to the files as needed.

Thank you to everyone for the help.

BTW, it is probably not a good idea to rename your local folder site folder every time you publish to folder. Read the full help instructions for tips on additional editing of your site.
