Trash emptying

Hi All
I am a new Mac user i wonder if it possible to empty the trash can preeminently . i don't want to see my deleted files in trash can any more.

Hmmm... I hadn't caught that... I just posted the link from VersionTracker. The developers site actually says "Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher"

I guess you could always give the developer a call to find out if it is compatible with 10.5

When you use "Secure empty trash", if you have lots of items, or big files/pictures/movies, it can sometimes take 10-15 minutes. What is happening is that it is making those sectors on your hard drive available for new files/data immediately as opposed to just making them available t write over when it gets to it.

When I have trashed large files or pictures/movies and used secure empty trash, I have seen it take up to 30 minutes to complete that task. Give it time.
