Command + Delete Stopped Working...

On my wired keyboard which is brand new, the Command & Delete option to quickly delete something has some how been disabled. What's wrong?

Also, is there a mouse and keyboard forum? I couldn't find it and since I have an iMac this was the closest related forum to make this post in.

Not sure if you have solved your problem yet or not, but a couple of troubleshooting questions come to mind.

Did this brand new wired keyboard ever work correctly when using Command and Delete? And there are two Command keys, one at each end of the Shift bar. Are we to assume that neither Command key works when trying to delete. And does the Command key work otherwise during other Command operations. Just asking.

Since the wireless keyboards do not have a numeric pad (or a delete key), how do you "command-delete" a file/folder in the Finder? I tried remapping the shortcut in the Keyboard section of System Preferences, but it does not allow you to use the "backspace" key as a combination (the "backspace" key is labeled "delete", but is located above the backslash key).

Does anyone know a way to re-map the "Move to Trash" function to "command-backspace"?
