Does any version of PowerPoint for Mac support triggers?

Does any version of PowerPoint for the Mac support the trigger feature? In the Windows version, there is a trigger feature that allows you to make a button that can be clicked to show a popup. I understand that older versions of PowerPoint for Mac do not support this feature. I was wondering if any version of PowerPoint for Mac supports it.

Since PP is made by Microsoft, please post all questions regarding it on Microsoft's own forums for their Mac apps, as Apple discussions only provide support for Apple products:

I was hoping to get real feedback from actual Mac users, but I guess that's not happening. Okay, I'll go to Microsoft for the answer to my question. Thanks!

Apparently the Windows version has triggers, but not the Mac version. I have used PowerPoint on a Mac through many versions and I have never seen the trigger button on a Mac.

Both seem to have all the other options, Delay, Speed, Repeat, Rewind (with animations other than Appear), but no trigger option on the Mac.

Let Microsoft know you want this option. Maybe in their next update for Mac, which should be around 2012, they‘ll include it.
