If you are trying to purchase music or an app on the iphone and the wrong account is showing up, try resetting all settings on the iphone.
Go to Home Screen > Settings > General > Reset.
Tap reset all settings.
Once the iphone restarts, then try the purchase again.

There has to be a proper way to do this...misstep by Apple on this one.iMac (Mid-2007), Mac OS X (10.5.6)
