Yes, I've forgotten my "Software Update" and don't know how to get it back or get a new one
Any suggestions?

It's the same password you log into the computer with each day or each time you start it up.

Do you mean the password for an admin account or something else?

It is the same password if you log into an admin account & if you have not setup any additional passwords & Keychains beyond the login one.
