Magnifique third-party theming app

I would like to use Magnifique to add themes to my Mac, but is it a safe program to use?

(Yes yes, it's a mac, but I'm paranoid)

Aluminum Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Go to their website and look at their forums. Or post your question there for more specific answers. The first message there says it’s incompatible with iTunes 8.1.

What’s “safe”?

I explored it. It added a theme. I didn’t like the theme. It restored the original with no issues. I tried a couple more. Each time it restored with no issues. Then I gave up. If it had better themes I might actually use one. But that’s just me.

Make a bootable clone before you experiment.

Safe to me is a program containing no malware. Like it's not going to steal any info, crash my computer, that kinda stuff.
